Sunday, October 23

      - Check into your room and pick up your welcome packet.
    - 7PM - 9:30PM Welcome Reception at the Sails/Great Bay Ballroom
      - Kickoff your week in a paradise with drinks and local appetizers, while serenading your senses with local music along with your fellow colleagues from the winners' circle.

Monday, October 24

      - Breakfast buffet included in your room
    - 9AM - 2PM Group Activity on a Luxury Catamaran: Snorkel Sail
      - Enjoy the sail amongst the islands and cays off St. Thomas and St. John as we anchor between beautiful, uninhabited islands to swim and snorkel.
      - Lunch will be provided during this group activity
    - Varies: Activities of Your Choice
      - Upon the completion of your activities' registration, you will receive a summary of your pre-selected activities
    - Varies: Dine Around
      - Enjoy dinner at restaurants at this beachfront resort or work with the hotel concierge to make a reservation and coordinate transportion to an offsite restaurant. We've heard good things about The Tap & Still Redhook, The Easterly, Island Time Pub, and Sudi's Caribbean Bar & Grille.

      - Join your colleagues for a few hours in support of environmental conservation initiatives to preserve the natural and cultural resources of the Virgin Islands for future generations.

    - 12PM - 3PM: Lunch at Leisure

    - 6.30PM - 7PM: Cocktail Hour at The Great Bay Terrace
      - Join us for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres on the Great Bay Terrace. A short walking distance from the Ocean Pavilion, the Terrace will give you a chance to watch St. John come alive at night.
    - 7PM - 10PM: Awards Dinner at The Great Bay Ballroom
      - Directly following cocktails on the terrace, we will continue our celebration inside the Great Bay Ballroom, an elegant 2,500 square-foot ballroom features vaulted ceilings, marble floors, and floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors opening to a beautiful stonework terrace, overlooking Great Bay and neighboring St. John.

Thursday, October 27

    - Varies: Departure Shuttle
      - Meet in the lobby at your designated departure time accordingly. You will receive a summary sheet in the next week or so for more details.

Flight Information

After completing your registration, you will be contacted with flight options based. Once your flight is booked, it is final. Please note that preferred airline and seating preference are not guaranteed. Official program travel dates are Sunday, October 23, 2022 to Thursday, Oct 27, 2022.

Tips for Packing & Preparing

Attire The Virgin Islands are fairly casual in dress. But here are a few guidance.

Daytime events and most evening events are resort casual.
Check your activities and make sure you pack appropriate shoes/attire for the activities you have selected.
Our awards event is resort dressy - think the type of outfit you would wear to a nice dinner while on vacation.

Outlet Adapters Outlets in St. Thomas are the same as US/Canadian outlets, so plan accordingly if you are traveling from another location.

Currency The US Dollar is the official currency of St. Thomas. Most hotels (including ours), restaurants, and taxi services accept traveler's cheques, which can be cashed at local banks. Most credit cards are accepted.

Health & Safety

Not a big fan of critters? Remember to pack your bug repellent/bug spray.
Non reef-safe sunscreen is illegal in USVI. Please remember to get sunscreens that are reef-safe and pack them in your bags. You can also get reef-safe sunscreen in St. Thomas.
For those of you who have selected the Group Activity: Cruise on a Luxury Catamaran or a sea-related activity, remember to consult your medical advisor or nearby pharmacy on over-the-counter medications for your seasickness.
Remember to bring your hand sanitizer as well. We do recommend checking with your airlines and travel guides on the container size you can bring on the flight with you.

Expenses

As you plan for the upcoming trip, please keep in mind the following guidelines for President's Club expenses. Sovos will reimburse expenses for you and your 1 guest.

Airfare

Airfare will be paid in advance by the company. Baggage fees may be expensed to cover one bag each for employee and 1 guest for flights to and from St.Thomas.

Transportation

Transportation costs to and from the airport as well as airport parking from Oct 23 - 27, 2022 will be reimbursed

Meals

Meals on travel days and at destination on days where group meals are not sponsored by the company will be reimbursed. To accommodate higher costs at destination, per person meal limits (excluding tax and tip) have been adjusted as follows:

Breakfast* - $15/person
Lunch - $40/person
Dinner - $80/person

* Breakfast is included in the rooms, this is only applicable for travel day.

Miscellaneous

Activities not scheduled by the company will not be reimbursed
Hotel amenities and personal expenses (facilities, movies, magazines, toiletries, etc) will not be reimbursed
Bottled water will be reimbursed
Travel visa applications (up to $300) will be reimbursed

General Expectations

All President's Club expenses should be submitted in Concur within 30 business days.
Submit expenses as a standalone report, named PClub 2022 in order to ensure proper tracking and allocation
Various expense types should be reported as a single line (i.e. meals reported separately from other expenses)
Provide itemized receipts for all expenses
Convert all expenses to USD; if necessary, Finance will provide exchange rate to be used for conversion.
